Volunteer Opportunities
Schools typically need the following type of volunteer

- Tutor or work as a classroom assistant in the following subject areas:
Reading, Writing, Math, Science, History/Social Studies, Computer Use, Foreign Language, Art, Music, Physical Education, Other:_____________________ - Give classroom presentations on special topics. List topic(s): ___________________
- Share information about your profession at Career Day
- Organize Career Day
- Offer students a tour or job shadowing opportunity at your workplace
- Coordinate school/classroom volunteers
- Help with and/or chaperone special school activities: student clubs/teams, awards programs, dances, productions, lunchtime activities, after-school activities, end-of-the-year activities
- Drive/chaperone on field trips
- Judge contests
- Work on the campus parent patrol
- Work in the library
- Help with school beautification and improvement projects. List your special skills:
- Serve on school committees
- Help with fundraisers

- Assist the office clerical staff
- Help verify student attendance
